Who This Is For.

Every child arrives at tutoring from a different place. We meet them where they are, not where a textbook says they should be.

Students Catching Up

For children who have fallen behind grade level — in reading, math, or other subjects — and need patient, structured support to rebuild confidence and close the gap.

Students On Pace, Wanting More

For learners ready to go deeper than their classroom allows — enrichment, acceleration, advanced topics, or simply more intellectual fuel than school is giving them.

Students Preparing for High-Stakes Moments

For students facing state tests (FAST ELA, FAST Math), grade transitions, advanced placement, or any academic milestone that benefits from focused, expert preparation.

Families Navigating Learning Differences

For students with IEPs, 504 plans, or unique learning profiles — including those whose families use Step Up for Students scholarships to access specialized tutoring.

Subjects & Support.

The full scope of academic support — across subjects, skills, and the moments that matter most in a school year. Every offering is delivered live, one-on-one, and built around your child's goals.

Reading & Writing

Phonics, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, essay writing, and analytical reading across all grade levels.

Mathematics

Elementary math through Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus. Conceptual understanding paired with problem-solving strategy.

Science

Elementary science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics support. Lab thinking, scientific writing, and exam preparation.

Social Studies & History

U.S. History, World History, Civics, Geography, and Economics. Reading primary sources, analytical writing, and exam prep.

Study Skills & Executive Function

Organization, time management, note-taking, test preparation, and academic self-management — the skills that make every other subject easier.

Test Prep

Florida FAST ELA, FAST Math, state assessments, and grade-specific standardized testing. Strategic preparation aligned to format and timeline.

Summer & Break Programs

Focused summer learning to prevent regression, accelerate growth, or prepare for the year ahead. Flexible scheduling during school breaks.

Diagnostic Assessment & Progress Monitoring

Initial academic assessment to identify strengths and gaps, paired with ongoing progress tracking so you always know where your child stands.

How K-12 Tutoring Works.

Every family's path is different, but the way we teach is consistent. Real instruction, real progress tracking, real partnership with parents.

1

Discovery Call

We start with a free conversation — parents, and the student when appropriate — to understand academic goals, current challenges, and how tutoring will fit into your family's life.

2

Academic Diagnostic

Before regular lessons begin, your KCE instructor runs a focused academic assessment to identify exactly where your child stands. This shapes the plan and gives us a measurable starting point.

3

Live One-on-One Lessons

Your child meets with their KCE instructor on Zoom for live, interactive lessons built around their specific goals. No apps. No prerecorded videos. Real teaching, real feedback, and direct support in every session.

4

Progress Reports & Family Check-Ins

After each lesson, you receive a written summary covering what was practiced and what's next. Regular family check-ins keep parents in the loop and ensure the work stays aligned with your goals.
