Where Language Meets Culture
French at KCE is not vocabulary drills with cultural sprinkles. It is a complete experience where language and culture move together — because that is how French actually exists in the world.
Lessons weave together the geography of where French is spoken, the rhythms of daily life in contemporary France, the arts and literature that have shaped its expression, the cuisine and traditions that make its culture sensory, and the idioms, registers, and social codes that turn vocabulary into real conversation.
Each lesson connects what you are learning to where, when, and how it lives — so the French you build is grounded in the cultures it belongs to.

Lessons That Live Beyond the Hour
Every lesson at KCE comes with detailed written notes. Vocabulary, grammar points, cultural context, and practice prompts — all captured cleanly so you can revisit, review, and rebuild what you learned long after the lesson ends.
The notes are not generic worksheets. They reflect what you and your instructor worked on together — the questions you asked, the corrections you made, the patterns you began to recognize. They make your French visible to you.
Over time, the notes become a record of your progress — a living document of how your French has grown, lesson by lesson, week by week.
Practice Together
A Place to Speak French
Learning a language is one thing. Speaking it freely is another. Group practice sessions give enrolled French students a relaxed, low-pressure space to use what they have learned — to converse, listen, and build the confidence that only real conversation creates.
Sessions are organized around themes, current events, and cultural topics — never drilled, never scripted. The goal is fluency through use, surrounded by peers on the same path.
Group practice is offered free to all enrolled 1-on-1 French students at KCE — a community benefit that complements your private experiences and helps your French come to life beyond the hour.

If you are looking to learn French, I highly recommend Fabrice KingCretot. He makes learning French conversation fun. I can honestly say that the feeling of confidence I have attained through his class is well worth the investment. During our group lessons, he works with each of us at our own level of French. We learn new vocabulary, everyday French expressions and French culture — all while having fun. We meet other students from around the world, which adds to our experience.
